Overview
At Mahkota Medical Centre's Chemotherapy Day Care, we are committed to providing an all-encompassing and effective chemotherapeutic treatment for patients diagnosed with various types of cancers and blood disorders. The day care centre also houses Chemotherapy Drug Reconstitution Room, where pharmacists begin the preparation of chemo-drugs for patients.
Services offered
The Chemotherapy DayCare specialises in cancer management using drugs. This includes prevention, early detection, treatment as well as rehabilitation to ensure that cancer cells are appropriately managed and do not spread out to surrounding tissues, or to other parts of the body. Before patients undergo any treatment, they will be given adequate counselling on the side effects, dosages and after treatment care. Chemotherapy can help cure, control or ease cancer symptoms for a patient.
