Overview
The Laboratory is one of the most important and biggest support departments in the hospital. It is furnished with various advanced equipment that is able to cater to most of the routine examinations within two hours turnaround time. Most of the laboratory equipment is interfaced with a specially installed Laboratory Information System to provide rapid and accurate laboratory tests results.
The Laboratory is committed to meeting the Ministry of Health, Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act and Regulations, Medical Laboratory Accreditation MS ISO 15189 and MSQH requirements.
The Laboratory has attained the Medical Laboratory Accreditation MS ISO 15189 since the year 2011 for the Biochemistry, Haematology, and Body Fluid.
In the anatomic pathology division, three full-time Pathologists provide Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC) service, rapid intra-operative frozen section facility besides routine histopathology and cytology services. The laboratory also has a full-time Haematologist who provides a full range of specialty services that includes platelet apheresis, bone marrow aspirate, and trephine examination. A technical management team is responsible for the pursuant of quality and excellent laboratory results.
Our ongoing quality assurance programmes ensure that the quality of services provided is of international standards. Our staff is committed to providing prompt and reliable services and we strive to be your preferred laboratory.
