概述
急诊与创伤中心由一支经验丰富的急诊科医生、医务官、护士及其他相关医疗专业人员组成，皆受过处理医疗紧急情况的专业训练。在有需要并于病情稳定后，个案可转介予相关专科的顾问医生（值班或应要求）进行进一步治疗或共同负责。
急诊医学科是一门专注于为需要立即医疗处理的急性疾病或受伤患者提供照护与治疗的医学专科。 在办公时间以外亦有急诊科医生驻守，使中心能够在相关专科顾问医生到达之前，为患有潜在严重急性疾病或受伤、且需要立即医疗处理的患者提供第一线的急诊专科照护。
此中心设有院内化验室及放射诊断科，并位于意外与急诊（A&E）部门旁，以便患者抵达后能立即进行评估与诊断。心脏导管室、手术室及重症监护病房则位于上一层楼，在紧急或危急情况下可迅速提供进一步治疗。我们的服务全天候 24 小时、每周 7 天提供，为所有急诊及自行前来的患者提供优质而全面的医疗照护。
