Early detection saves lives. The Multi-Cancer Early Detection (MCED) Blood Test is an advanced diagnostic tool that screens for early signals of 10 common and aggressive cancers from a single blood sample.
Using circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) analysis, this test can help identify cancers at an early, more treatable stage—even before symptoms appear.
What Cancer Can Be Detected?
The MCED test can detect early signals of the following cancers:
- Breast Cancer
- Lung Cancer
- Colorectal Cancer
- Stomach Cancer
- Liver & Biliary Tract Cancer
- Pancreatic Cancer
- Oesophageal Cancer
- Head & Neck Cancer
- Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma
- Ovarian Cancer
Who Should Get Tested?
This test is ideal for individuals with an elevated risk of cancer, including:
- Adults aged 40 years and above
- Adults below 40 years with high risk factors such as:
- Family history of cancer
- Smoking or alcohol use
- Hepatitis B or C infection
- Hereditary cancer risks
Results available within 4 weeks of blood collection.
Patient Support Programme
In collaboration with Gene Solutions, patients who test positive are eligible for a subsidy of up to RM2,000 to support additional diagnostic testing (e.g. imaging or endoscopy).
