Mahkota Cancer Charity Run 2026
25 October 2026 | Mahkota Medical Centre, Melaka | 5KM
Some steps take us to the finish line. Others take us towards something that matters a little more.
Join us for the Mahkota Cancer Charity Run 2026 as we come together for a morning of movement, connection and hope, while supporting greater awareness and access to cancer screening in our community.
Why We Run
Cancer touches more than the person receiving the diagnosis. It affects families, caregivers and communities, often changing lives long before treatment even begins.
The Mahkota Cancer Charity Run 2026 brings our community together for a shared purpose: to raise cancer awareness, encourage earlier detection and extend meaningful support to Malaysians affected by cancer.
More than a sporting event, the run is an opportunity to turn awareness into action. Alongside the 5KM run, participants can take part in health screenings, cancer education, wellness activities and family-friendly experiences designed to encourage conversations about prevention, screening and taking proactive steps towards better health.
A Commitment Backed by Clinical Excellence
Our commitment to cancer awareness and early detection is supported by established standards of clinical care.
Mahkota Medical Centre is the first and only hospital in Malaysia to achieve the Joint Commission International (JCI) Clinical Care Programme Certification (CCPC) for Breast Cancer, reflecting our commitment to coordinated, evidence-based care throughout the breast cancer journey.
Mahkota Medical Centre is also the only hospital in Malaysia’s Southern Region recognised in Oncology by Newsweek’s Best Specialized Hospitals Asia Pacific for four consecutive years, from 2023 to 2026.
These recognitions strengthen our responsibility to take cancer care beyond the hospital by helping communities understand their risks, encouraging timely screening and making early action more accessible.
