Dr Saravanan A/L Kannan joined Mahkota Medical Centre as as a full-time consultant in 2012 and specialises in Radiology & Interventional Radiology.

Radiology is a medical discipline where medical imaging technology is used to diagnose and treat diseases in patients. This discipline includes diagnostic cross-sectional imaging of various diseases, including central nervous system, pulmonary, breasts, gastrointestinal and genitourinary diseases, as well as cancer imaging.

Vascular and interventional radiology is an exciting subspecialty which utilizes image-guidance to perform a variety of minimally invasive, vascular and non-vascular procedures to treat a wide range of diseases.

Combining various diagnostic imaging technologies, Dr Saravanan conducts cancer screening, diagnosis and minimally invasive, vascular and non-vascular procedures. He works closely with patients, families, and other medical practitioners to provide complete medical care.
