Preventive measures

Things that you need to know during your next visit at Mahkota

Enhanced cleaning procedures of frequently touched surfaces. Clinical spaces are disinfected daily.

Regular disinfection

We are open from Mon - Fri at 8:00am to 5:00pm and Sat - Sun at 8:00am to 12:00pm but will vary according to Public Holidays.

New operating hours

Accident & Emergency department operates 24 hours daily, wards / CCU / ICU operates from 12:00pm to 2:00pm and 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Wards / CCU / ICU operating hours

All patients & staff are screened for body temperature. On top of that, their personal details are recorded to ensure the utmost level of safety and tracebility of COVID-19 cases should the need arises.

Stricter procedures for staffs

Seating arrangements in waiting areas and shared spaces are redesigned with visual indicators to ensure social distancing and reduce the spread of infections.

Social distancing

Effective 1 June 2022, visiting hours are 12:00 - 2:00pm or 5:00 - 7:00pm. Each visitor is allowed 30-minute per visit. Children below 12 years old are not allowed to visit and senior citizens above 60 years old are discouraged from visiting.
