As you prepare for your stay at Mahkota, we advise that you bring along some personal items such as pyjamas, slippers as well as toiletries. You may bring along some magazines or books to read.

If you are taking any medication, please bring these along and hand them to the Nurse In Charge, whom you should also inform if you suffer from any allergies.

For security reasons we would advice that you do not bring any electronic equipment, valuables, jewellery or large sums of cash into the hospital.

Mahkota Medical Centre accepts payment by cash, credit card, charge card, bank draft or direct transfers (TT).

Generally, clinic operating hours run from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm Monday to Friday and from 8:30am until 1:00 pm on Saturday. For medical needs beyond the normal operation hours, patients may proceed to the Accident & Emergency unit that operates 24 hours daily. Just hop onto a local cab at the KLIA and let the driver know that you would like to come to
Mahkota in Malacca. The distance is approximately 115 km and the journey takes around 1.5 hours. The cost of the cab should be approximately RM160. For more info:- Click here

Mahkota is located next to Mahkota Parade Shopping Centre, a premier mall in Melaka, boasting Malaysian brands and goods ranging from basic groceries to high-end items. Some eateries are located within the shopping centre and around Mahkota.

Mahkota has a nurse counseling counter called Triage Counter, where patients can seek the advice of the nurse. The nurse will then direct the patient to a specialist who will assist in the proper treatment of care. This service is complimentary.
