Our Neurological & Stroke Centre has one of the largest care teams in private practice in South Malaysia. The centre is primarily supported by Neurologists, Neurosurgeons, Psychiatrist, Paediatrician with special interest in Neurology, and a team of Rehab therapists dedicated to the treatment of adult & paediatric patients with Neurological, Neurosurgical and Psychiatric Disorders. Together with other sub-specialists such as Geriatrician, Neonatologist & Spine Surgeons, we provide patient-focused Neuro care that integrates the expertise of a multidisciplinary team.
Our Neuro-Diagnostic Laboratory was officially set up in January 2011 and equipped with various facilities for different Neurological studies. Major nervous system disorders seen at the Centre include Epilepsy, Brain Tumour, Stroke, Neurovascular Diseases, Parkinson’s Disease, Movement Disorders, Alzheimer’s Disease, Spinal and Peripheral Nerve Disorders.
Our centre is also equipped with Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound (TCD), a non-invasive scan used to examine the blood circulation within the brain. Coupled with other Neuro-Radiology (e.g. MRI Brain DWI, CT Brain, Carotid Ultrasound, MR Angiography etc.) and Neuro-Rehabilitation services, we serve as a one-stop centre for comprehensive care and management of Stroke.
