The Sports, Recreation and Welfare Club (SRC) of Mahkota Medical Centre organised a Chinese New Year open house last Friday on 15 February from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Mr Stanley Lam, CEO of the hospital gave the opening speech and amongst the highlights of the event are the traditional yee sang session, lion dance performance and colourful food stalls serving a variety of dishes.

Mahkota Cancer Support Group organized a Chinese New Year gathering on 15 February to provide emotional support and share the festive cheer to those undergoing cancer treatment and care. The event started off with Chinese New Year song presentation and followed by various activities such as sharing sessions and birthday celebration. Thank you National Cancer Society Malaysia for supporting our event. At Mahkota Cancer Centre, we are with you every step of the way.

The God of Fortune (财神到) made a surprise appearance to our patients and visitors by spreading the festive cheer thanks to the Customer Service Department. Happy Chinese New Year and we wish all our patients a good health as it is the best wealth in life!

We held a Symposium on 22 & 23 December with Theptarin Hospital. Theptarin Hospital in Thailand is well known for its model of holistic and integrated Diabetes Centre in South East Asia. Useful and important information was shared with various healthcare professionals involved in the diabetes care continuum and public.

Our Christmas carolers started spreading the magical Christmas spirit of love and joy in Mahkota Medical Centre with their beautiful renditions of Christmas songs!

Mahkota Medical Centre and Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka joined hands as part of their Christmas Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to spread the festive cheer with gifts’ distribution to patients at the paediatric ward and hemodialysis centre in conjunction with the Christmas celebration. It was a meaningful event for our patients yesterday thanks to Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka.

Mahkota Medical Centre had its Deepavali Open House Celebration last Friday evening on 9 November with our doctors, staff and patients. We celebrated the Festival of Lights with our employees dressed up in traditional Indian attires and a wide variety of delicious Indian delicacies served.

Children’s Day came early this year at our Paediatric (Ward 6A) as we celebrated last Friday, 5 October with various games, songs and Kidzoona’s mascot to keep the children entertained from 10.30am to 12pm.

Building Bridges in Cancer Management (14 July) - An Oncology Symposium by Mahkota Medical Centre. 27 June 2018 marked a key milestone for our hospital and sister hospital, Regency Specialist Hospital, as we embarked on the Brand Relaunch with Refreshed New Identity, Renewed Commitment – sharing with all our new logo which was officiated by Yang Berbahagia Datuk Dr. Ghazali Othman, Director of Melaka State Health Department along with the selection of today’s photo highlights.

To usher in the month of Ramadan by bringing joy to the community, our hospital's Sport & Recreation Club in collaboration with UiTM FPP (Melaka) organised the Bubur Lambuk Distribution Program and car boot sales yesterday which garnered a good response from the public.
