Melaka Tourism Award Best Tourism Attraction (Healthcare) 2010/2011

The state government honoured Mahkota Medical Centre with the Melaka Tourism Award 2010/2011for Best Tourism Attraction in Healthcare for the third consecutive year.

This award is presented to companies that have contributed significantly towards the growth of the tourism in Melaka.

For its efforts in medical tourism, Tourism Malaysia and the Malacca State Government presented Mahkota Medical Centre (MMC) with this award.

In 2006, MMC emerged as the champion among public hospitals and the five private hospitals that took part in this competition.

For two consecutive years, Mahkota Medical Centre received this recognition from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). In 2006, MMC was conferred with the Excellence Export Certificate and in the following year, MMC was awarded with the Industry Excellence Award under the Export Excellence (Healthcare Services) category.

MMC received this prestigious accreditation for its dedication in improving its healthcare quality and for continuously accessing its level of performance against nationally applied standards. The Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH) was formed through the initiatives of the Ministry of Health (MOH), Association of Private Hospitals of Malaysia (APHM) and Malaysian Medical Association (MMA).

In recognition of MMC’s effort in medical tourism, the state government once again honoured Mahkota Medical Centre with the Melaka Tourism Award 2008/2009 for Best Tourism Attraction in Healthcare.

Technology Business Review Awards or formerly known as International Business Review Corporate Award has been recognized as one of the most prominent corporate excellence awards for Malaysians as well as foreign companies operating in the ASEAN region. For two consecutive years, in 2008 and 2009, Mahkota Medical Centre was attributed with this award for its outstanding achievement in the healthcare sector especially in technological advancement.

Entrepreneur Development Association Malaysia honoured MMC with this award which recognizes organizations that practice honesty and integrity in this today’s commercialized society.

Mahkota Medical Centre (MMC)’s position as one of the top healthcare centre in Malaysia was further enhanced when MMC received this award from the Ministry of Health.

MMC received this award from SMI & SME Worldwide Network for its efforts in providing excellent services to our patients.

Mahkota Medical Centre was awarded The BrandLaureate- SMEs Chapter Awards (Corporate Branding) - Best Brand in Wellness- Medical Tourism 2010 by the Asia Pacific Brands Foundation (APBF) for its excellence in branding and strong positioning within the region.
